Stage Engage delivered the full technical production and live broadcast for the Oxford Street Christmas Lights Switch-On in Hanover Square. Working with The Intrepid Collective on behalf of New West End Company, we brought together staging, audio, lighting, video and scenic fabrication for one of London’s most recognisable festive events.

Challenge
Solution
An integrated production system built for live performance and broadcast
We installed a 5m x 2m carpeted stage, d&b audio, Sennheiser wireless microphones, stage lighting, two 65-inch relay screens and a 3m x 2m Absen LED video wall containing 960,000 pixels. A two-camera production package, LiveU bonded connectivity, wireless video links and main and backup playback systems provided a resilient live broadcast workflow. Our fabrication team also produced branded indoor and outdoor backdrops, including the red-carpet photo area, while festive lighting and a snow machine completed the event environment.
Results
A seamless switch-on shared beyond Hanover Square
The event was successfully delivered with clear audio, coordinated lighting, branded visual content and reliable live coverage. The production supported guests, partners and media in Hanover Square while enabling the Oxford Street switch-on to reach audiences through BBC News and local broadcast coverage.
