AV Hire
Event Production — Stage Engage

01 — Overview
AV is the technical link between the people on stage, the content being shared and the audience experiencing it. When everything works together properly, attention stays on the event rather than the equipment behind it.
We provide tailored AV hire for conferences, meetings, awards ceremonies, exhibitions and live events. From straightforward presentation setups to multi-room systems with cameras, remote contributors and live content, we build each package around what needs to happen on the day.

02 — The Detail
The technical backbone of the room
Audio and visual equipment should operate as one joined-up system. Presentations need to reach the correct screens, microphones must be heard in the room and online, and every cue should happen at the expected moment.
We plan how each source, destination and control position connects before installation begins. This creates a coherent system that is easier to operate and far less likely to produce unwelcome surprises during the event.
Presentations without the awkward pauses
A confident presenter should not have to worry about adaptors, aspect ratios or whether the next slide will appear. We can manage presentations centrally, check every file in advance and provide confidence monitors so speakers can see their content, notes or remaining time.
Multiple laptops and playback systems can be incorporated where required, allowing seamless changes between presenters while providing additional resilience for important sessions.
The right display for the space
Not every venue or audience needs the same type of screen. We can provide LED video walls, projection, large-format televisions and smaller displays for breakout rooms, exhibition stands and digital signage.
Screen size, brightness, resolution and position are considered against audience distance, room lighting and sightlines. This ensures content is legible from the seats that matter, not just from the technical desk.
Bringing more people into the conversation
Cameras and remote contribution systems allow an event to reach beyond the people physically in the room. A keynote can be shared with an online audience, a remote speaker can join a panel, or live camera images can give guests a better view of the stage.
We can integrate cameras, vision mixing, streaming, recording and video conferencing into the wider AV system, with audio and content routed correctly for both the venue and remote viewers.
Ready before the first guest arrives
The most useful preparation happens before the event begins. Equipment is installed, configured and tested against the expected programme, while presentations, video files and external connections are checked wherever possible.
Rehearsals give presenters time to become familiar with microphones, clickers, screens and stage positions. They also allow our technicians to refine cues and resolve any issues before they can interrupt the live event.
From a meeting room to a complete venue
AV requirements can vary considerably across the same project. A main plenary room might need a fully operated system, while breakout spaces only require screens, microphones and simple presentation control.
We can provide anything from individual equipment to a venue-wide package covering multiple rooms and schedules. Each area receives the appropriate level of technology and support without making a straightforward requirement unnecessarily complicated.

04 — FAQ
Choosing an AV package involves more than creating an equipment list. These answers cover some of the practical details that help us specify the right system for your event.
What equipment is included in AV hire?
AV hire can include d&b audiotechnik sound systems, radio microphones, Absen LED video walls, televisions, projectors, presentation laptops, confidence monitors, cameras, vision mixers, playback systems and associated cabling. The exact equipment is selected around your venue and programme.
Can you provide AV for several rooms at the same event?
Yes. We can equip a main event space alongside breakout rooms, meeting areas, registration points and exhibition spaces. The systems can operate independently or be connected to share presentations, audio and live video between rooms.
Can you manage our presentations on the day?
Yes. Our technicians can receive and check presentation files, organise them in running order and operate them during each session. We can also accommodate last-minute updates and provide a dedicated speaker preview area where required.
Do you support hybrid and streamed events?
Yes. We can connect remote speakers, stream sessions to an online audience and record content for later use. Our team manages the audio, cameras, presentations and return feeds needed to make remote participants feel part of the event.
Can you work with equipment already installed at the venue?
Yes. We can assess the venue’s existing AV equipment and incorporate suitable systems into our setup. Where additional equipment is required, we will ensure it integrates correctly and identify responsibilities clearly before the event.
Can I hire AV equipment without technicians?
Equipment-only hire is available for other production companies. We can also provide delivery and installation, occasional technical support or a complete crew to manage the system throughout the event.
