Audio & PA Hire
Event Production — Stage Engage

01 — Overview
Good audio should feel immediate, balanced and completely natural to the audience. Speech remains clear, music has energy and everyone hears what they need to hear without being overwhelmed by volume.
We supply professional PA systems for conferences, awards ceremonies, live performances, festivals and brand events. From a pair of discreet speakers to a distributed system covering a large venue, each setup is chosen around the space, programme and audience.

02 — The Detail
Clarity comes first
If the audience cannot understand what is being said, the message is lost. We pay close attention to vocal clarity, microphone choice and loudspeaker coverage so presenters can communicate confidently without competing with the room.
This is particularly important in acoustically challenging venues, where reflective surfaces, low ceilings or background noise can quickly reduce intelligibility. Careful positioning and system tuning help keep speech focused and easy to follow.
Even sound across the audience
Turning the system up is rarely the answer to poor coverage. Loudspeaker placement, height, dispersion and timing all affect how consistently sound reaches different parts of a venue.
We plan the system around the audience area, using additional fills, delays or distributed speakers where required. This helps provide a balanced listening experience across the room rather than creating excessive volume near the stage and weak sound further back.
Ready for the performance
Live music places very different demands on a PA system. It needs sufficient headroom, controlled low-frequency response and the flexibility to handle everything happening on stage.
Our audio packages can include front-of-house and monitor consoles, stage boxes, microphones, radio systems, in-ear monitoring and loudspeaker systems. Experienced engineers manage soundchecks, monitor mixes and the live performance, responding to the dynamics of the show as they happen.
The right microphone for the job
A panel discussion, awards host and live vocalist should not all be treated in the same way. We select microphones according to the speaker, performance style, room and visual requirements.
Our hire stock includes handheld, headset, lapel, instrument and specialist microphones, alongside professional wireless systems. Frequency coordination and monitoring are handled throughout the event to maintain dependable operation when several radio channels are in use.
Control behind the scenes
Complex events often involve walk-on music, video playback, remote contributors, presenter microphones and multiple performance inputs. A well-planned audio workflow keeps these sources under control and allows transitions to happen cleanly.
Digital mixing consoles, playback systems, audio networking and show communications can be configured around the running order. The result is an audio setup that supports the pace of the production without drawing attention to the technical work behind it.
Hire it your way
Some projects need a complete audio department, while others simply require additional equipment to complement an existing system. We can provide individual items, a tailored PA package or a fully crewed service covering setup, operation and removal.
Our team can also work alongside visiting engineers, touring artists and venue technicians, providing a familiar and well-prepared system ready for them to use.

04 — FAQ
The right PA package depends on far more than the number of people attending. These answers explain some of the factors we consider when planning audio for an event.
What audio equipment can I hire?
Our audio hire stock includes professional loudspeakers, subwoofers, amplifiers, digital mixing consoles, stage boxes, radio microphones, wired microphones, in-ear monitoring systems and playback equipment. We can supply individual items or build a complete package for your event. We stock brands which includes but is not limited to: d&b audiotechnik, Shure, Sennheiser, DPA, Midas, Audix plus many more.
How do you choose the correct PA system?
We consider the venue dimensions, audience size, event format, required sound level and any restrictions on speaker placement or rigging. A conference focused on speech will require a different system from a live band or outdoor festival, even with a similar audience capacity. We can also provide noise pollution reports before your event has even happened so the people that need to hear your event can, and the neighbours can't.
Do you provide technicians with audio hire?
Yes. We can provide experienced technicians to install, manage and operate audio systems throughout your event, ensuring everything runs smoothly.
Can you provide radio microphones for presenters and panels?
Yes. We can provide handheld, lapel and headset radio microphones for presenters, performers and panel discussions. We also coordinate the wireless frequencies and monitor the equipment during the event.
Can you provide audio for live bands and DJs?
Yes. We can supply PA systems, mixing consoles, microphones, stage monitoring and technical crew for bands, DJs and other live performances. We can also work from an artist’s technical rider and liaise with their engineer before the event.
Do you provide PA hire for outdoor events?
Yes. We provide audio systems for festivals, public events, sporting events and outdoor activations. Coverage, weather protection, power, noise management and the surrounding environment are all considered when specifying the system.
